The house and grounds

Situated in one and a half acres of garden, The Woodlands offers all the modern comforts in a traditional country house setting. We have two totally self-contained apartments, Mewstone View and Breakwater View, in a secluded spot with private parking. Enjoy the sea view and then wander down a grassy path to the village and beach, just two minutes away. At The Woodlands we cater for traditional bucket and spade holidays in the peaceful, unspoilt village of Cawsand. There is a warm welcome for parties of all sizes – from couples to large groups wishing to holiday together. Both apartments have easy access to each other. The pace of life is easy and reminiscent of your childhood holidays.

Bed & Breakfast with a difference

The apartments are self-catering, but are also available for Bed & Breakfast with a difference out of high season. You can enjoy all the home from home comforts, with a basket of delicious provisions supplied so you can make your breakfast at a time to suit you.

This is an ideal location to stay for passing out parades at HMS Raleigh or weddings at Polhawn Fort and Mount Edgcumbe.
